The exhibition Pauno Pohjolainen - 70 Years of Plenty and Famine is the dialog between masterpieces of the artist and icons of the RIISA's collectional exhibition.
Pohjolainen obtained a painter's education, and his works are usually called as "carved paintings". Pohjolainen is known as an author of monumental sculptures and reliefs, as well as large metal public works. Masterpieces of the artist are in many sacral rooms. Pauno Pohjolainen has received Ars Fennica Award in 1997 and Pro Finlandia Award in 2005.
